how it all began
cory and i met at a high school track meet. he was a senior, i was a sophomore. he was stretching on the field and i was walking to the start of the 100 meter dash to hold my then boyfriend's blocks. he decided to "stop and talk to an old friend". we got through introductions and he said his name was cory eddy. it clicked (they had told me they had a guy picked out for me that i needed to marry for months now!). so we said our goodbyes and that was that. i broke up with my boyfriend a few weeks later {due to problems in the relationship, not because of cory). cory then started texting me and we started talking nonstop. we started hanging out all the time!

| cor and i were waiting for kinz (my sister) to get out of basketball |
it was time for cory's mission for our church {the church of jesus christ of latter day saints} where he was called to serve in paraguay. i told him i wasn't going to wait for him. he told me to go on dates and do whatever i needed to since i was still in high school. he left and life went on. we wrote every single week for two straight years. never missed a week. my favorite day was when letters came in the mail. there is something about a good written letter in the mail.
